The hospitality company Dayaxe wanted to launch a new website to attract users and expand its sales footprint. Revenues had shown strong growth but new competitors were entering the space and it was important to gain marketshare quickly.

Work on the e-commerce website added the following critical features:

  • The ability to search partner hotels for the best prices, times, and leisure options.
  • Support for multiple sales models including recurring subscriptions using multiple payment processing solutions.
  • A fast, easy DevOps pipeline for deploying from multiple staging environments to production.
  • Excellent SEO behavior which was critical given the intense competition in the space.

The new e-commerce site was launched on a technology platform of React/NextJS using a Koa/Postgres backend.
